War of the Roses is an upcoming MMORPG from Paradox Interactive, the same development team behind the hugely popular sandbox MMO, Heaven and Hearth, and the upcoming Salem. Taking place in 15th century England, War of the Roses throws players into an epic battle over ownership of the throne in one of the most famous battles in history, the fight between the house's of Lancaster and York.

War of The Roses has a heavy emphasis on team-based game play mechanics such as communication, formations and attack strategies. Using in-depth melee combat mechanics, players must work as a unit in order to defeat their opponents.
