Having only just entered its closed beta period, Paradox Interactive gave us the opportunity to get down and dirty with their medieval combat title, War of the Roses. Featuring an exciting selection of authentic weapons and armor, and a skill-based combat system, War of the Roses stands head and shoulders above the regular third-person stuff we see released nowadays.
