From Hi-Rez Studios comes an innovating online team-based game, with a science-fiction setting combined with a secret agent concept, a spy-fi game as the developers referred to it. Global Agenda was released on February 1^st, 2011, but re-released on April 2011 as a free-to-play game.
While the game is free-to-play, the Conquest feature requires a monthly subscription. This feature allows the player to engage in PVP combat, competing with each other in order to gain control of certain areas and resources. It also features management tools, creation and upgrading facilities, a mail system and a raid system.
The game puts the player in the year 2155 in a world devastated by the third world war, a world controlled by an organization called The Commonwealth. The player can choose from four classes: Assault, Recon, Medic, and Robotics, each having unique skill trees and specific special weapons. The character customization offers a somewhat large variety of choices which gives players the possibility to personalize their characters and make a unique avatar. Also armors can be dyed to add a little variety to the in-game population.
The game offers interesting and entertaining missions for players to complete, thus keeping them glued to the screen for hours. Global Agenda, with its unique features and great sci-fi concepts, comes as a breath of fresh air in the massively multiplayer game business.
