Riot Games Continue Efforts To Clean Up League Of Legends Community
In a recent interview with Polygon the Social Systems Developer at Riot Games, Jeffrey Lin, discussed the implementation of new mechanics that will further see the League of Legends community penalized for toxic and anti-social behavior. 2016 is looking to be a massive year for League of Legends and Riot Games as the award-winning developers previously revealed huge changes coming for the game including looting and crafting - both of which can result in free skins and limited time mounts. It was reported that players who are repeatedly reported for toxic behavior will find their opportunity to get loot and participate in crafting revoked. If you're a player who is punished for toxicity or intentional feeding or so on, you can't get loot
While Lin said the developer is still ironing out details on the point at which a player's account will be cut off, he confirmed that players who are consistently tagged for negative behavior will not get any drops. Likewise, they will not be able to use crafting, where undesired drops can be traded in for something else. For the full interview and more details on the direction Riot Games hope to take with toxic players in League of Legends, check out Polygon.
