War of the Immortals is an action based MMORPG that has a heavy focus on intense combat and large-scale PvP events and competitions. The game is similar to other titles published by Perfect World, offering over the top, sharp looking armor and ability animations as well as larger than life weapons and pets.

One of the most defining features of War of the Immortals is the extensive list of available classes. Each class follows a typical MMORPG archetype but all have their own special abilities, skills and weaknesses. Characters learn new skills and abilities every 15 levels and can also choose to improve older abilities if they wish, the level cap is currently set at a huge 105. The available classes and archetypes are as follows

Berzerker
Melee DPS wielding huge weapons and medium armor. Can utilize fire and ice elements.

Champion
Tank class, able to wear the strongest armor in the game. Can use ice and light elements.

Duelist
Female only class that is able to use dark elemental magic. The Duelist focuses on debuffs and poisons.

Enchantress
Uses mainly the fire element for attacking abilities, the Enchantress is a ranged support class offering buffs and heals.

Heretic
The glass cannons of War of the Immortals, the Heretic has the strongest range DPS in the game.

Magus
The main crowd control class, utilizing many different routes and stuns, a skilled Magus is a tough opponent for any class to come across

Ranger
The Ranger is a typical hunter archetype, offering range DPS and crowd control abilities such as traps and stuns.

Slayer
The strongest burst DPS class in the game, able to unleash massive amounts of damage over a short period of time.

With all these classes available the PvP in War of the Immortals is always highly diverse, with every battle feeling like a unique experience that you've approached for the first time.
