Rusty Hearts is an anime inspired Hack 'n' Slash MMORPG from free to play gaming portal, Perfect World. Rusty Hearts is one of the most unique artistic projects bought to the F2P genre offering some great character and background visuals combined with fresh, high tempo ability animations.

Rusty Hearts offers a very high octane battle system, unlike other MMO games you won't spend half your time waiting for ability cool-downs to complete, the combat is very manic and the animations combined with the combo system really add to the visual effect of the game.

The dungeons in Rusty Hearts are different from the average MMO, you can party with up to 3 other players and crawl through dungeons together. It feels very similar to the popular dungeon crawl titles like Diablo and Baldur's Gate. As you battle through the dungeon you meet various boss types and large amount of minion type enemies but the most unique aspect is the full animated and voiced cut scenes that appear from time to time. The loot system in the dungeons is also quite fresh, as you battle through each dungeon you can collect loot cards, the more you've gathered by the end of the dungeon the better your reward will be.

The most appealing aspect for a lot of players is the Diablo esq item and collecting system. Each item can have dozens of variations making it almost impossible to meet another character with identical gear and the crafting system allows you to combine unique items to create even more powerful items and equipment. This system has proven highly successful in past dungeon crawler titles and is sure to do so again with Rusty Hearts.
