Pathfinder Online launched its campaign on the popular player funding site, Kickstarter, in November of 2012. Since that time Globlinworks have managed to attract 8,390 supports and a whopping $1,048,591 in funds, making Pathfinder Online the 10th most funded video-game project in Kickstarter history. Promising to usher a new era of MMO entertainment, Pathfinder Online hopes to deliver one of the greatest sandbox MMO experiences of our time.

Currently in developed by Globlinworks, working with publishers Paizo Publishing, Pathfinder Online is a hybrid MMO game that promises to deliver the depth of a sandbox MMO with the appeal and friendly approach of theme park MMORPG games. In a land of magic and bravery, explore the high fantasy world of Pathfinder Online, one said to be compared to the likes of Lord of the Rings and Game of Thrones.

The unique setting of Pathfinder Online combines world features from both classic and modern fantasy games, from mysterious jungles to decimated pyramids and lost cities. Many of the inhabitants live in peace, alongside a huge variety of fantastical creatures and beasts.

Experience a world driven by a player controlled economy and crafting system. Players are able to create hundreds of items and consumables, as well as fortifications, buildings and other settlements. Although starting as small villages and towns, player created settlements can expand until they occupy a space fitting for a kingdom. Large settlements will have to compete for resources and land as they clash against opposing nations and dozens of deadly creatures and NPC factions.

Pathfinder Online has only recently completed its Kickstarter funding project so development is still in early stages. There's no information currently available regarding a release date, or closed beta testing, but the developers have promised to release a variety of exciting information in weeks to come.
