Pathfinder Online Announced

A recent announcement from Goblinworks gave sandbox MMO fans a small ray of hope as they released details on their latest MMORPG project, Pathfinder Online. The game will be a mix-up of standard MMORPG features and mechanics, mixed in with the love or hate style of a sandbox.

Sandbox fans have never really had an MMO to sink their teeth into, older titles have dwindled away, newer titles such as Darkfall and Mortal are borderline broken. The recent release of the hugely successful Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is exactly what Sandbox developers needed to reignite interest in a dying genre.

Details on the game are few and far between, we do know the lore will be based on the tabletop game, Pathfinder Online and that the character creation system will offer both predetermined builds and archetypes as well as offering the choice of total freedom when choosing what your character can do.
