Lucent Heart is a free to play MMORPG inspired by the signs of the Zodiac. When creating their character, players must choose a birthday and star sign, this choice effects many areas of your character including animations, emotes and abilities. As you progress through the game your Zodiac will eventually gain enough power to allow for Transformation, this ability transforms your character into a powerful Zodiac Form, increasing all of your base stats and adding a few new abilities.

The game has a heavy focus on socializing and community, with a number of features designed to get players to quest together and interact with one another. One of the more interesting aspects of this is the Dance System, unlike other MMORPG's you don't simply type an emote, you actually create the dance yourself. Using dozens of predefined dance animations, you can choose which animations to put into your dance routine at any time, you can then take your custom choreography into dancing competitions to earn cash and in-game prizes. Another aspect of the community driven features is the Soul-Mate option, players can choose to select a Soul-Mate and when questing together, both receive various buffs such as increased experience points and item drops. Soul-Mates that participate in questing together for long periods can also get married, which adds even more bonuses when grouped.

Lucent Heart also features an extensive Pet System, combining both Combat and Passive pets. A combat pet can aid you in battle and can also learn various skills and abilities, as well as increasing in strength alongside the player. Passive pets don't fight with you but they can provide some really helpful buffs such as increased health or damage. There are also a number of rare combat pets that players can mount during combat, giving a number of statistical boosts as well as the tactical advantage of speed and maneuvering.
