World of Darkness Suffers Layoffs
Fans of the upcoming story-based MMORPG game, World of Darkness, may have to wait a little longer than planned to sample the dark MMO as the developers announce a surprise round of layoffs at CCP Games-Atlanta. According to a new report from Ned Coker, CCP's Senior PR Manager, the developers have made adjustments to the staff working on World of Darkness resulting in the loss of 15 employees.CCP today made strategic adjustments to the staffing on the team working on the World of Darkness project in Atlanta that resulted in the elimination of approximately 15 positions at the company. The change was due to our evaluation of the game’s design and ongoing development needs.
