Sony Entertainment recently released some information on their upcoming DC Universe Online DLC, Fight for the Light. The new DLC introduces fan favorite hero, Green Lantern and a new powerset, Light. Despite the fact the content has been labeled as a DLC, which usually suggests a small fee, the content will be free for all active subscribers.

Players can expect to interact with many of the famous names from The Green Lantern universe and the DLC story will allow players to pledge allegiance to either the Green Lantern Corps or Sinestro Corps fighting to restore balance to a world of chaos. SEO also announced several action-packed fighting scenes that will involve players fighting over the iconic S.T.A.R. Labs and maybe even a special appearance from the Red Lantern corps.

DC Universe never really made a huge impact on the MMO scene, Champions Online is still considered by most to be the dominant title in the super hero genre, maybe this latest DLC content will see some fresh players dusting off their capes and joining the world of DCUO.
