The Second Dream Update Now Live For Warframe PC

Digital Extremes, the developers of the critically acclaimed and hugely popular free-to-play MMO Warframe, today announced the release of the highly anticipated update, The Second Dream, the largest update in the games long and successful history.

The Second Dream introduces a new level of quality storytelling in Warframe with new cinematic driven quests that will answer the long serving question, What is Warframe? The team are thrilled to introduce players to the Second Dream update, one that's not only the largest in the games history but also one of the most tight-lipped as plenty of new features and content have been left out of the press releases to give players an exciting reason to explore the new content.

New Sortie System missions are also introduced to give end-game players more exciting and challenging content to explore, either solo or with friends.

Each Sortie Mission will have its own unique requirements or enemy modifiers, favoring Tenno that have a versatile Arsenal.
Players can access Sortie Missions through the new Sortie Icon through the upper right hand corner of the World State Window in Navigation.
Sortie Missions will change daily, and players must complete all three Missions to receive a reward from that Season’s pool.
Each Sortie Season will last for a period of 15 days before cycling in a new Season with an updated loot table.
