Sandbox Salem Opens Beta Sign Ups
Seatribe have announced that the beta sign ups for their latest MMORPG, Salem, are now open. Players can sign up for the beta on their Facebook page, and if they’re able to get 3 friends to sign up using their private URL, they’re guaranteed access to the beta.
Salem is a sandbox MMORPG game, that’s made by the same developers that created Heaven and Hearth. The game is considered to be a crafting MMO where players are able to do everything from planting and harvesting crops, to building larges villages and churches. One of the most discussed mechanics of Salem is the perma-death feature, players that die lose everything, from materials to their friends list. This hardcore approach appeals to many gamers today that are hoping to avoid the typical theme park type MMO games.
