Rift Enters Guinness Book Of World Records
Trion have recently announced that their top tier MMORPG Rift Planes of Telara, will be entered into the 2013 Guinness Book Of World Records after smashing a previous record for the most in-game marriages in single day. The event took place on Valentines Day, February 14th, where over 40,000 players tied the knot. 21,900 marriages were born that day, giving Rift the record for the most marriages on an MMORPG in a 24 hour time-frame.
It’s a bit late to be entered into the 2012 edition as it has already been published but Guinness Book Of World Records publishers have confirmed that it will be in the next printed edition launched in 2013.
