New Hardcore MMO Hits And Misses On Kickstarter – Dogma: Eternal Night
You don't have to search far for an MMO board with players craving a new hardcore MMO experience but sadly it appears another has failed to make its mark on Kickstarter as Prelude Games Factory's Dogma: Eternal Night failed to reach its Kickstarter funding goal today. The game was hailed as a brand new hardcore approach to multiplayer gaming with a unique blend of dark fantasy, supernatural characters and steam fused elements that was intended to excite players towards a new direction in online gaming. Sadly however the teams goal of $100,000 was not met and the game fell very short, reaching only $35,100 from 435 backers.“Dogma: Eternal Night is a sandbox MMORPG, where you will take on the role of a vampire and, like other supernatural entities, try to survive in a modern megalopolis. You will become one of the non-living and join a vast community of those who dwell in the night and conceal their existence from mortals.”It doesn't necessarily mark the end of the road for Dogma: Eternal Night but the team may want to attempt a funding campaign sometime into the new year.
