The increasingly popular online survival game, Nether, has recently enjoyed a massive update that introduces a number of exciting elements to the game, including brand new elements added to the recent debut of Tribes.
Players and Tribes can now enjoy a number of exciting new elements including the ability to fight for control over a number of strategically placed buildings scattered throughout the game world. 10 new buildings have been added to the game world and Tribes that control these buildings can enjoy an increase in resources as well as the ability to progress down an entirely new skill tree.
The new territory wars release is accompanied by the debut of the Wastelands, increasing the explorable area of the game world by 200%. Female characters are now also available during character creation and a new expanded loot system that allows for more realistic item placement and effects.
“By adding territory wars, Nether expands upon the survival genre by offering players more gameplay options than just scavenging, fighting creatures and fellow survivalists, and crafting,” said Chip Sineni, Creative Director at Phosphor Games. “Tribe battles will give combatants a whole new bevy of challenges and strategies in order to maintain control of strongholds and navigate the tumultuous world safely.”
