Jagex Reveal New MMOCCG Game
This past weekend was the annual gathering of RuneScape fans from around the globe and this year Jagex gave them a little something to celebrate as they revealed Chronicle: RuneScape Legends at RuneFest. Chronicle: RuneScape Legends, currently a working title, will be available sometime in 2015 on PC, Mac, tablet and mobile platforms, and it will offer players the opportunity to explore a new take on the classic online collectible card game genre. Chronicle: RuneScape Legends builds on the years of lore and background story developed within Gielinor, the world of RuneScape, offering players a host of familiar characters as they explore a living book that focuses on building quests, allowing players to craft their own items and delivering epic battles in intense PvP with difficult boss battles inspired by the most dangerous of RuneScape enemies."RuneScape has been the foundation for Jagex's success for more than 13 years, and it's exciting to broaden the brand's appeal with the compelling quest building gameplay offered by Chronicle," said Phil Mansell, vice president of RuneScape, "Chronicle: RuneScape Legends represents an important step for Jagex as we add a new game into the RuneScape family. This announcement tops a strong 2014 where our flagship title has continued to thrive."
