Bioware’s first MMORPG Game project, Star Wars: The Old Republic, has already been brandished one of the greatest MMO games of the modern era, and it’s not just because of the game itself. Bioware and EA have pushed the boundaries on many levels, offering players a free trial and refer a friend codes within months of launch, while the majority of MMORPG Games take years to offer these kinds of services.

To break the mold yet again, they’re now giving players 30 days playtime for free. The free playtime is to allow players the opportunity to test some of the great features included in the highly anticipated 2.1 update. Current players with a character over level 50 will get 30 days, while previous players without an active subscription get 7 days. There has been some complaints as the system will automatically resubscribe players after the 30 days, if they’re already subscribed, so be sure to keep an eye out if you don’t feel like playing past the free period.
