Another browser title from BigPoint has just begun its open beta phase in over 12 countries. Drakensang Online promises to be the next generation of action based browser games, offering graphics never before seen in browser titles and over 100 hours of genuine game play.

Drakensang has been in Closed Beta for a short while but now is open to the public, it’s a familiar approach to top down dungeon crawling titles offering very similar loot systems and combat mechanics to genre giant Diablo. The graphics won’t seem amazing to any MMO gamer as we’re all spoiled with graphics from many 3D F2P titles but for a browser game, it really does push the limits, all with reliable frame rates and a fluid and responsive UI.

A few years ago this was only possible via large clients, today we’re seeing games of similar quality within seconds of discovering the web page, BigPoint continue to push the boundaries of the free to play browser based market and we can’t wait to see what they come out with next.
