gPotato, publishers of popular free MMORPG games, have just released information regarding the latest content to hit Allods Online, the Astral Storm update. The Astral Storm update brings many requested features to the world of Allods Online, most notably the introduction of the mentoring system. The mentor system allows players that are over level 30 to form a bond with new players that are over level 6. New players will be able to gain knowledge and guidance from their mentors while the mentors are gifted with a variety of rewards such as gold and rare items.

Another exciting addition is in the Astral Storm update is the new area in Astral space. Players can take their highly tuned Astral vessels into this new area of space where they will find a large number of randomly-spawning treasure chests. Players can only enter the new area for limited periods of time but the more players that show, the more frequently the treasure items spawn. However, it's not all fun and games as random demons can appear if the zone gets too populated.
