Allods Online – EU Open Beta Starts on 16th February
Dublin, Ireland – 9th February 2010 – Gala Networks Europe, the leading free-to-play online games publisher, is pleased to announce that Allods Online, the subscription-free fantasy space opera MMORPG, will officially enter its Open Beta Test phase in Europe on Tuesday 16th February.
Allods Online has already been through four successful beta testing phases, beginning in November 2009 with the release of the first 19 levels of the game. In its Open Beta incarnation, players can select from 28 character classes, experience 1, 500 quests and over 300 different creatures.
Developed by Astrum Nival, Allods Online is a fully-featured MMORPG set in a fantasy space opera universe. Drawing on the Rage of Mages series which began in the mid-1990s, it has a deep and rich back-story and offers players many different ways to play and explore its varied and detailed playing world as well as the dynamic Astral space.
At the start of the game, players choose one of two warring factions to join. Gameplay involves combat, exploration, piracy, magical themes, mysteries to solve and, at higher levels, cooperation in the construction of an astral battleship.
Players can venture through Allods Online solo, developing their character and attributes, or team up with other players within a party. The flexibility of the gameplay and options available are one aspect that continues to be refined and developed throughout the beta process.
Anyone who wants to play the Open Beta version of Allods Online needs only to register at the gPotato.eu website, then download the game from the official European Allods Online site at http://en.allods.gpotato.eu/Download/Client.aspx.
