16,000 Banned From ArcheAge
Trion Worlds are demonstrating their zero tolerance approach to spamming and illegal bot activity in the recently released, ArcheAge, following the banning of over 16,000 accounts. According to a new post on the official forums Community Manager, Evan Berman, stated that thousands upon thousands of spammers and botters have been given the boot, with thousands more expected in coming weeks. It's important to note that we've also been banning compromised accounts that have been hijacked and used for spamming purposes. Often, this is the result of hackers using compromised credentials sourced from other, third-party websites to attempt logins on other websites (and online game services). If you suspect your account may be compromised, contact our Support Team immediately via website or email. Be sure to read up on how to secure and protect your account on our Support page. For more information and additional details, check out the official ArcheAge forums.
