Kwismas Island was separated from Frigost a long time ago and now it drifts around the far reaches of the ocean. It's only when the month of Descendre is well under way that the currents push it towards the continent, just off the coast of Bonta.

Since a piece of the island was propelled towards Amakna, the village's inhabitants have become accustomed to a thick layer of snow covering the houses as winter approaches. But, this year, Jiva has decided to intervene to re-establish the balance. Djaul's disciples will be in for a surprise.
