One of the most appealing features of the Kingdom Under Fire franchise is the unique approach to the real-time RTS combat engine. The controls are renowned for being intuitive and easy to learn, prompting many first time RTS players to flood to the original game. Returning to the franchise is the Fame Tech 2 engine, providing players with painstakingly detailed character and soldier designs. Watch as hundreds of your units clash with the enemy in high detail that wouldn't be out of place in a blockbuster movie.

Players can pledge their allegiance to three unique factions, the Human Alliance, Dark legion and Encablossa, each with their own powerful soldiers and units. Populating each faction is over 100 unique units that players can train, upgrade and launch into epic battles against other players. As well as managing their individual units players will have to ensure they enter every battle prepared. Bring troops designed to counter your enemies strengths but don't forget your siege weapons so that you can attack your enemies stronghold and sack it for the treasure.

In true MMORTS fashion players will also be able to hire unique heroes and travel through a progression path to make the hero unique to your army.
