Adventure Quest is a fully animated browser-based MMORPG flash game that offers many of the much loved features from your favorite MMORPG titles, but with the ease of no download and no harassment from other players. Although the game is considered to be an online title, you don't actually play along with players directly. When you create your character you can choose any one of the three base classes Fighter, Mage and Rogue, and also customize the appearance of your character such as hair type and color, eye type and skin color. The tutorial is very thorough, teaching you everything you need to know about Adventure Quest. Once you've made your character and completed the tutorial you can explore the world, collect quests and begin leveling up your character.

The combat system is one of the best aspects of Adventure Quest, when you encounter an enemy monster you attack via a turn based battle system similar to what's seen in the early titles of the Final Fantasy series. At the start of each turn you can select a default attack, a special ability, magic spell or item. Each action is accompanied by a highly detailed animation. You can also bring companions and pets along with you on your travels, some of these are available for free or you can purchase them from the stores in-game. Each pet and companion has their own set of abilities and animations, making each unique.

The game is filled with hundreds of lovable characters and each quest is accompanied by an in-depth story and cut-scene. As the game is not fully multiplayer, you can pick it up for a few minutes or play for hours on end, it's totally up to you and you don't have to worry about falling behind.
