Warface is an upcoming, free to play MMOFPS game from Crytek. Warface throws players into a world filled with conflict and war, taking the fight to locations across the globe. Warface will be host to a huge variety of exciting features including both PvE and PvP options. Warface has been developed using the critically acclaimed CryENGINE 3, a game engine that not only delivers the best visuals in the industry, but also offers huge scaling options to make it playable on practically any modern day PC. CryENGINE 3 is the engine behind the highly popular Crysis 2, giving Warface players some of the best looking visuals ever seen in a free to play MMOFPS as no other online game has utilized the power of Crytek's strongest game engine. Similar to other MMOFPS titles, Warface will offer players a variety of FPS based classes. You can expect to see the typical class types such as Assault, Medic, Engineer and Sniper. Assault will focus on carrying heavy weapons and explosives, such as assault rifles and grenades, while Engineers focus more on area control planting dangerous devices such as C4. Snipers and Medics will feature as support classes, allowing Snipers to hide at a distance picking off targets while the Medics run into the heat of battle to revive a downed comrade. The PvP aspect of Warface will include a variety of game modes, some traditional, others more inventive. The traditional game modes will include Team Deathmatch, a simple mode that rewards victory to the team with the most kills and Capture the Flag, a more complex game mode that rewards a team with points if they're able to steal the enemy flag and return it to their base. Warface will also include an extensive amount of PvE features, allowing players to attempt difficult co-op missions, or attempt to take down a stronghold of rebels solo. Crytek have announced that the game will support a variety of social features to aid players, such as in-depth "looking for group" tools, as well as in-game chat and Facebook integration.
