War 2 is a free to play, browser-based MMORTS game based during the historical era of World War II. The game is published and developed by MMO newcomers, Forza Games. The game is primarily aimed at Brazilian players but it accessible in other countries and will soon include language support in other areas.

As is traditional in MMORTS games, War 2 has a heavy focus on city construction, military development and resources management. All of these tasks require a large amount of resources, the available resources are Petroleum, Food, Steel and other rare metals. In order to gather enough resources and expand your empire you will need to construct various resource buildings and upgrade them to the appropriate level. As well as using your resource buildings you can also attack opponents and NPC cities to plunder them for more resources, giving you bigger and better opportunities for expansion and growth. Another vital resource is Gold, gold is a unique resource because it can only be obtained by the tax collected from your citizens. It is used in a number of vital functions for your city, including research and improvements to buildings and units.

As well as managing your city on the military front, you must also take care of the citizens that dwell within. Citizens represent the stability of your city, a city with happy citizens will reap various rewards such as more military units and a higher resource rate. Citizens will make various complaints during your journey, you'll have to do everything in your power to ensure that you keep them happy. If your city is attacked or you're inactive for long periods of time, you will lose the faith of your citizens, punishing your city in a variety of ways. Setting your taxes too high is another way of upsetting your population, so don't get too greedy.
