Uprising Empires is a Browser Based MMO Strategy game. It is free to play but has an item store in which you can purchase various items, and item packages, to aid you in your quest of world domination.

Set in late 13th century and early 14th century, Uprising Empires allows you to operate as one of four Middle Eastern empires: The Byzantine Empire, The Ottoman Turks, The Kingdom of Jerusalem, and The Mongolian Empire.

Just like other Browser MMO-Strategy games, there are construction resources, a food supply, and gold for currency. There are also technical ages that you must advance through and with each stage completed, you unlock more buildings, units, challenges, and technological advancements.

A key aspect of this game is the ability to build a massive army and use it to conquer other cities, or to defend your own. To choose from there are cavalrymen, archers, and infantrymen just to name a few.

In addition to these military assets, it is possible to recruit legendary war heroes. They give special boosts to your stats and can command more than 50,000 troops. There is a Command Post where you can organize your army and the squadrons within it. In addition to completing missions and battling NPC’s, it is possible to create military alliances and declare civil war on other players and their alliances.

However, there is more to do in Uprising Empires than full scale sieges. You can also rob and loot opposing cities and send out spies to gather strategic information about your foes. There is a market system, too, in which you can buy and sell goods as well as send resources to other cities that you control.

All in all, Uprising Empires is a free to play browser game that is jam packed with militaristic characteristics that is sure to attract players of a more competitive nature.
