Romadoria is a free to play, browser-based RTS game that is set during the ever popular Roman era. The game offers many unique features to the RTS genre including a very complex economic system, an in-depth guild and ally option and plenty of buildings to construct and units to train.

As the Emperor of your own Roman settlement, you are responsible for attracting people to your colony, building public, military and diplomatic buildings and making sure you have enough resources to sustain your own little corner of Rome. You do this in typical MMORTS fashion, building up your town from only a small population and a few buildings, to a thriving city with enough military might to scare Caesar himself. It's not easy though, players will need to master resource management, a complex economic system and keep diplomatic relations positive to give their town a chance of surviving during this brutal era.

As with other titles in the genre, players are kept safe from PvP until they've learned the basics and built enough units to protect themselves. Once the safe effect wears off, you're free to attack anyone you like, but they're also free to attack you. This dog eat dog PvP style is one of the most appealing aspects to Romadoria.

Most browser-based RTS titles have very similar questing systems however, Romadoria has transferred most of these typical quests into achievements. Instead of having to build a certain building, collect a certain amount of one resource or attack a certain A.I stronghold for quests, players can play freely and still receive rewards for completing these vital tasks. You're not forced to do them in any particular order, each achievement earns the same reward whether you do it on your first day or after a week. This allows players to progress at their own pace and in totally different directions to other players, creating a far more varied game world than other titles in the genre.
