Roll N Rock is a unique flash based, browser MMORPG game that features similar mechanics to the classic Dig Dug type games, where players have to skillfully move objects to collect valuable resources and items. The game features intense multiplayer combat mechanics and offers an extensive amount of customization. Although the game is flash based, it does present itself with highly detailed graphics, with very colorful design. The music also complements the game perfectly with upbeat and happy sounding music throughout.

When players create their character, they get to choose 1 of 4 base appearance models, 2 male, 2 female. Once characters have been chosen, players can freely edit the appearance of the character using clothing items such as hats, gloves, scarfs, shoes and pants. Your choice of character also influences what type of Newbie Pack you're awarded at the start, each pack compliments the appearance and style of the chosen character.

The controls and movement in Roll N Rock take a different approach to most browser-based titles. Players are not forced to use simple point and click controls, instead they're able to use more basic console type commands. The controls are listed below:

Move character: Press “↑, ↓, ←, →”.

Kick rolling object: Press “space”.

Push rolling object: Press “←, →”.

Use item: Press numeric keys “1, 2, 3, 4, 5”

The aim of each game is to reduce your opponents HP to 0. You do this by causing objects such as rocks and boulders to squash your opponents dealing damage. There is also a very large variety of items players can use to aid them in battle, with everything from healing items to stat buffs included. The game also includes an enchantment system that allows players to customize gear and equipment by combining items to make more powerful versions.
