Rising Cities is not your typical MMO game; you won't find any elves, dwarfs or goblins in this latest BigPoint title, instead you're given the opportunity to dive into the world of city management.

Rising Cities places players in the role of City Mayor, a vital position that leaves you in charge of practically every need of your residents. Whether you're managing the food, the population, the travel or the city sights, the citizens will expect you to make their town a success.

There are dozens of building types, each of which serve a different purpose in your city. Some buildings will provide raw materials such as potatoes, others will turn resources into usable items such as a Diner turning potatoes into Food. A careful balance of these buildings is vital to ensure that every individual citizen of your city is nurtured and cared for.

Even if the stomachs of every citizen is filled to the brim, there are tons of other responsibilities you'll have to fulfill as Mayor. Everyone will need somewhere to leave, prompting you to build highrise housing to home all of your citizens and in turn, they'll provide you with a regular income of money via rent. Other needs will need to be cared for also; every building needs power and a loss of power can mean disaster for a prospering city, you'll need to build power plants and other buildings to ensure that doesn't happen.
