Build huge armies from a variety of units and buildings and march them into live combat wielding unique items and magic spells to strike down opposing armies.

One of the best things about Kingdoms at War is the amount of choices in regards to the units. Unlike most strategy games where you get your typical, melee, archer, mount and maybe a siege weapon, Kingdoms at War offers far more interesting units such as Dragons and powerful Wizards, it gives you a lot of choice when making tactical decisions on how to attack your enemies which helps add to the variety of each fight.

As with most browser strategy games, you'll spend the majority of your time building and maintaining your base/castle/town. Kingdom at War uses a 3 tier building system using attacking, defensive and mixed buildings that can all be upgraded to a maximum of 3 times.

The quests are pretty typical for this style of game but each quest does have a chance of item drops, some of which are really rare and could give you the edge in a close fight. The majority of the quests are pretty simple and although they don't really keep you engaged, the chance of getting a great piece of loot is more than enough to drive you to complete them.

The community is highly active and help is never far off in chat making it quite a friendly place for newbie’s to learn the tips and tricks. They also offer live news feed in game that is updated regularly, the news isn't always relevant to you but it's nice to see what's going on in the world. You can also forge alliances with other players to trade items and materials as well as helping each other in battle; Clans are quite a heavy focus in the game with safety in numbers being something most players seem to agree on.
