eRepublik is a modern day, military themed MMORTS game available as a free to play title that can be played through any popular internet browser. eRepublik is highly unique among RTS games, removing the typical grind of constructing a base and spending days gathering resources, instead eRepublik focuses a worldwide battlefield with thousands of players fighting for their country.

When you first begin your journey in eRepublik you must choose which country you want to represent on the battlefield. Every country on Earth is available for selection and each is filled with hundreds, if not thousands, of other players. Every action you perform in eRepublik, whether you're training, gathering items or fighting in combat, aids your countries military campaign. If other countries are able to gather a higher score, they can invade and even occupy certain territories within your country. Players must communicate and unite against invasion forces, collaborating their actions and attacks to give their country the highest score possible.

Rather than your character being represented by an entire army, eRepublikmakes it more personal, with you acting as one general among thousands. There's many actions you can make as a character, including training, working and performing other daily tasks. Training is designed to increase the damage you can do on the battlefield, you can train once per day and it only takes a few seconds as all you have to do is click a box. Working uses a similar mechanic but is a little more in-depth. Every player in eRepublik is able to start their own business, from creating arms to harvesting food and other resources, other players from the same country can then get a job with these businesses, earning money for that character and generating points for that country.

The battle system in eRepublikis quite refreshing. You don't have to spend 20 minutes traveling across a world map as the battlefield is right on your doorstep. After accessing a simple menu you can battle with thousands of other players until you run out of HP or fancy a break. The combat is animated, so you can expect to see Tanks, Guns and other items during combat. All displayed with real-time animations and damage effects, making eRepublik one of the truly innovative MMORTS titles of recent years.
