One of the most decorated directors in big screen history is coming to the MMO scene as George A. Romero announces the Open Beta release of the highly anticipated zombie survival sandbox MMORPG game, Aftermath. Can you survive against the odds in a massive game world that features every environment imaginable, from lush forests to sprawling desert plains and gorgeous meadows - although the tranquility of many of these is thrown into turmoil with the thousands up thousands of undead that inhabit the game world.

Aftermath sees players scavenge a huge open world for guns, supplies and other items that will aid in their survival, including crafting materials that will allow players to craft dozens of useful and important items. You'll be exploring abandoned cities, empty farms, desolate military bases and more with hundreds of small camps and outposts that litter this once safe and proud landscape.

Find your own corner of the world and build your own shelter in Aftermath as you discover brand new blueprints that unlock additional recipes that players can use to craft more powerful items that can be stored in hidden stashes around the world, or in a Global Inventory that you can access on other characters and keep certain items safe, even when your character has been devoured by the undead.

Customize your survivor with hundreds of unique items as you take on the role of a civilian, police officer, deadly bandit, or your own personal stamp on the world. Customize your character with dozens of different items that you can discover and equip such as Headwear, Facewear, Shirts, Jackets and Pants. You can even customize your weapons with unique skins before showing them off to your friends and enemies.
