Players will have to leave the safe boundaries of their established home worlds if they hope to amass the wisdom and riches on display throughout the universe. Players home worlds are safe from capture but as they expand through the galaxy they can capture and own outposts that can be used as bases to attack and explore further. However, these outposts can be conquered by other players so you'll need to make sure you have the military might and economic strength to support your extended front lines.

AD2460 offers an exciting science-fiction experience for players of all tastes and variety. AD2460 features both extensive single player campaign options and online multiplayer experiences. Single players can enjoy a deep world of lore and background story while multiplayer fans can enjoy competitive exploration and combat with players from around the globe.

AD2460 boasts one of the most immersive, exciting and approachable science fiction universes in the MMO genre. However, the game was previously behind a pay-to-play wall that was off-putting for some players. Players are currently able to enjoy a 15 day free trial of the science fiction epic but soon, on December 7th 2015, the developers have announced that the game will be transitioning to a free-to-play model.

What does this mean? Well, previously you had to subscribe on a monthly basis if you wanted to enjoy the endless bounties on offer by AD2460. However, come December 7th that will no longer be the case and players will be able to download the play the game as much as they like entirely for free.
