You begin your journey in the Kingdoms of Camelot under the watchful eye of the wise Merlin. Arthur has sent him to be your mentor and help you construct your own thriving society. At the beginning of the game you’re introduced to a number of the games most important features via an intuitive an easy to use tutorial.

As with all MMORTS games, your first task in Kingdoms of Camelot is to construct buildings that will collect you resources. There are two main areas of construction, your city and the fields. The fields will be your main focus for the first 30 minutes that you play, constructing various buildings such as Sawmills and Mines, both of which are used to collect valuable resources that you’ll need in order to advance your city.

The interior of your society, the city, is where you’ll place your most important buildings. This is the area where you’ll construct buildings that will allow you to train troops and research new technologies, both highly vital for your military campaign.

As Kingdoms of Camelot is available on Facebook, it comes with many interesting social features. You can use your Facebook friends to strengthen your army, including improving your troops and attacking units. You can also aid your friends in many other exciting ways, adding a heavy social element to a usually solo experience genre.
