Florensia is a free-to-play MMORPG of Japanese origins, introduced to the western market by Burda:ic GmbH. The game explores a relatively new concept for the MMOG genre by allowing players to venture out on both sea and land. While this doesn’t actually count as a breakthrough of historical importance, it does point towards untapped fun resources in fantasy online games, and Florensia and its developers should be congratulated for making steps in this direction.
