The latest MOBA title to hit the market, Warhammer: Wrath of Heroes will enter the first phase of closed beta in the coming months. An announcement from the developers today confirmed the suspicions of many as current Warhammer Online players will be offered exclusive, early access to the beta.

MOBA titles have taken the internet by storm in recent years, League of Legends being among one of the first, truly stand alone MOBA titles. The game has proven successful on many levels, bringing in unparalleled players numbers for the genre and even hosting official competitions for eSports. The latest MOBA is pretty much what everyone would expect but decorated in true Warhammer fashion with many of the Heroes, abilities and other units being take directly from the Warhammer universe. Players are hoping this title will breach the gap between hardcore and casual MOBA games but very few details have been announced so far.
