World Of WarPlanes: Huge Alpha Response
Wargaming.net, the developers of the highly popular, award winning World of Tanks MMO, recently announced that they were working on 2 more battle simulation titles, World of WarPlanes and World of Battleships. Although information on World of Battleships is still scarce, World of WarPlanes is in full throttle with a number of teaser videos released as well as the alpha phase of testing sign ups opening.
The alpha sign ups have only been open a number of weeks but Wargaming.net has just announced that the total number of accounts hoping for a chance to test their latest title, has reached well over 100,000. World of Tanks has already smashed records for the most simultaneous players on one MMO server and World of WarPlanes is setting up to break the record for the most interest in an alpha phase, will they make the mark? Only time will tell.
