World Of Tanks World Record Smashed
Some of you may have been aware that World of Tanks held the record for the most MMO players signed on to one gaming server according to the Guiness Book of World Records. The number was said to be around the 200,000 mark, however that record has now been smashed to pieces.
The new record stands at a staggering 250,000 concurrent players on one server, and the current holder? World of Tanks. That’s right, they smashed their own record thanks to the thousands of players that joined the Russian WoT servers.
World of Tanks seemed to create a new niche of its own, from nothing it became one of the most dominant free to play MMO games on the market and judging by this new record, it’s still growing.
