World Of Tanks Continues Population Snowball

World of Tanks seems to appear on news sites every week breaking a new World Record or releasing another top quality update and this week is no different as Wargaming.net announce yet another ground breaking accomplishment.

Since the release of the Russian version of the game, as well as the recent update, World of Tanks has now accumulated over 18 million registered accounts. Although this doesn’t mean there are 18 million people playing, it’s safe to assume that at least 20% of them are playing, which is still a huge number of players for any MMORPG game.

World of Tanks continues to expand both in terms of content and player-base, this is increasing excitement for Wargaming.net’s upcoming Battleships and Planes titles, lets hope they can repeat this success.
