Wave Goodbye To Warhammer Online
In September of this year Mythic announced the upcoming closure of Warhammer Online and the day of reckoning has arrived as fans wave goodbye to one of the better PvP titles on the market. Things haven’t been going great for the Warhammer franchise as the Warhammer: Wrath of Heroes MOBA game closed down after just one short year in closed beta and now it’s more successful brethren has gone the way of the dinosaur.
Last night, December 18th at 6PM EST, Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning held its last battle as the game has now officially ceased all services. There hasn’t been a hint of another publisher grabbing the title so for all intents and purposes, it’s safe to say this is probably the last we’ll hear of it.
Let’s hope Warhammer 40,000: Eternal Crusade has better luck when it eventually hits shelves.
