Warframe 5.5 Million Strong

Digital Extremes today announced the release of Update 12: Zephyr Rises for the increasingly popular PC and PlayStation 4 free-to-play MMOTPS Warframe. The developers also announced the reaching of an impressive milestone as the PC community has now grown to over 5.5 million players as Warframe is quickly becoming one of the most popular free shooters available online.

Update 12: Zephyr Rises a number of exciting elements to the game including a brand new Heads Up Display, a number of unique weapons, a brand new game mode and the new aerial based Warframe, Zephyr.

To celebrate the launch of the latest update, one of the most exciting in the games short history, Digital Extremes launched another of their popular videos highlighting various elements of the patch and some of the contents players can look forward to.
