The Secret World Goes Free To Play…For One Weekend
Funcom have just announced that their latest MMORPG, The Secret World, is heading for a free to play weekend this August. It’s almost unheard of for new pay to play MMO games to release free trials, or free weekends, so quickly after launch but this bold move from Funcom shows that have a lot of confidence in their product.
The free to play weekend for The Secret World will begin Friday, Aug. 3 at 4 p.m. GMT and run through until Monday, Aug. 6 at 7 a.m. GMT. This gives players an entire weekend to delve into the unique, modern setting MMO that includes a huge variety of exciting features.
