Runescape Celebrates 12th Anniversary
During a time in the industry where MMO games seem to close every month it’s great to finally have some good news. The record breaking browser-based MMORPG Runescape is celebrating its anniversary today after 12 hugely successful years as one of the most popular browser games online.
Opening the original 2D version way back in January 2001 Jagex have taken Runescape to new heights year after year with massive improvements such as the change to 3D and the recently released combat overhaul, the Evolution of Combat.
Jagex also announced the exciting features coming in 2013 such as two new skills, an overhaul of the Construction skill and a new customizable interface. For more information on Runescape, click here.
