Rift Heading To Asia
Trion Worlds popular action-based MMORPG, Rift Online, are continuing their efforts to increase the games population by expanding into new territories. The latest announcement follows a previous one that included details of a publishing agreement between Trion World and Shanda Games that allowed Rift to be played in both Korea and China.
The latest details include another new publishing agreement that will allow players in the Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam and Thailand to join in and explore the world of Rift. Rifts struggles over recent months have been no surprise, the game failed to deliver on many levels at launch and the updates afterward were small and slow. Trion Worlds are determined to prove things can improve as they continue to push out quality updates and are attempting to encourage even more players to join the game by adding more regions and even selling the game for $5
