Rift: Free Weekend
Trion Worlds have just announced a planned free weekend for their popular MMORPG, Rift. The game was only released last year and has already made a reported $100 million in revenue, to celebrate this, and the upcoming anniversary, players will be able to log in this weekend and experience all the content Rift has to offer, for free.
New and current players will be able to take advantage of the free weekend which will run through to this Sunday, January 22nd. They also mentioned the upcoming update Carnival of the Ascended which will include an array of new end-game features such as new dungeons and new sets of gear.
