PlanetSide 2: One Of The Most Successful Games In SOE’s Arsenal
John Smedley of Sony Online Entertainment was recently interviewed by GameIndustry.biz and during the interview he shed some light on the current success of the recently released MMOFPS, PlanetSide 2.
During the interview he called PlanetSide 2 the ” best microtransaction game in SOE’s history”, quite the feat consider the stable of MMO games available on Station MMO portal. He also discussed his personal stance on Facebook games and whether or not Sony Online Entertainment would explore the possibility of developing one in the future.
