PlanetSide 2 Beta Delayed
The PlanetSide 2 beta was originally meant to be underway already but the team have decided to delay it by a few days, to help “make sure it’s awesome”. John Smedley released a number of Tweets over the last 24 hours, giving players a brief insight into the current beta plans for the hugely anticipated Sony title.
The new dates for the beta of PlanetSide 2 will be either Friday, August 3rd or Monday, August 6th. An official announcement is expected closer to the time. The reasons for delaying the beta launch were Tweeted as:
The team is working like crazy but we need to polish some stuff and test it before we let in a massive # of people.
Slightly disappointing that we have to wait a bit longer, but I think that disappointment and upset will vanish as soon as players boot up PlanetSide 2.
