Phantasy Star Online 2 Release Date Announced For EU And US

Great news for all you Phantasy Star Online fans, SEGA have just confirmed the release of Phantasy Star Online 2 for Europe and America. Sadly, we’ve not been given an exact date but SEGA have said that the game will reach both European and American shores sometime on 2013.

Asia is already sampling the world of Phantasy Star Online 2 via an open beta testing program currently only available to them, it’s region restricted and a total headache to get into for EU and US players. Phantasy Star Online was one of the first real MMO titles to hit consoles but a lot has happened since then and the PC gaming world has exploded in popularity, leaving a massive gap for a SEGA product, could Phantasy Star Online 2 fill that gap?
